After first being established in Pyoungyang by the Rev Marpo Samuel who was dispatched by the United States North Presbyterian Mission, Soong Eui Girls' School valued Christ's love, justice, and practice of service above teaching. To form a fully matured humanity based on Christ's spirit, which has been the founding ideal of Soong Eui Girls' School.
